Köhler proposes that subjective phenomena are configurations organized and individualized by an internal dynamism and not the sum of elementary units, as argued by the founder of experimental psocology, Wilhelm Wundt. This proposal is known as the Law of Isomorphism. Köhler, being of Jewish origin, had to flee from the Nazi stalking to the United States.
