A group of ophthalmologists from Israel have achieved an important innovation for the possible repair of cornea, only with the daily use of ophthalmic drops that has been tested in pigs with excellent results.

What represents that people who use glasses or glasses to correct any ophthalmological anomaly, can permanently eliminate the need to use them. The drops are effective both for myopia and for hyperopia, and according to a researcher, David Smadja, can even prevent cataracts.

Knowing that hyperopia is an anomaly that consists of the impediment of seeing clearly the next objects. If hyperopia does not disappear during adolescence, the ophthalmologist will evaluate as treatment the optical correction through the use of glasses or glasses. Similarly, the myopia that is the inability to see things that are very clear and easy to understand or to realize with insight of some issue and that can currently be corrected with lenses, contact lenses or refractive surgery. Clinical trials in humans will occur by the end of 2018 and, according to Dr. David Smadja, these eye drops, known as “nanogotas”, could change ophthalmological and optometry treatments for those with hyperopia, myopia and other conditions. Refractory this developed discovery would allow that in the short term people with the use of these drops in the eyes stop using lenses and allow to see objects from different distances.

These and other innovations are now possible in Pharmamedic.
