Childhood cancer continues to be the leading cause of death due to disease among children over one year of age.
In all beings, food must meet the needs, both energy and different nutrients, only this way you get a correct nutritional status and an adequate energy balance.
One of the most common side effects of childhood cancer treatment is anorexia or loss of appetite.
Some basic tips:
- Enrich the purées, rice, pasta, desserts, vegetables with: egg, milk, cheese, cream, grated cheese, butter, croutons, bacon, minced meat, sausages, sauces, corn, peas, nuts, oil of virgin olive, honey, jam, jam, quince, liquid caramel, etc.
