Intuition is a fascinating aspect of human experience that has intrigued philosophers, scientists and people from all cultures throughout history.

The innate human ability that allows us to understand situations, events, thoughts or feelings is intuition. In this way, we make decisions instantly without the intervention of the rational mind or logic.

The feeling of knowing something without apparent logical justification. We can say that we speak of intuition when we understand things instantly, without the need for reasoning, through a feeling, an instinct, a hunch, an inner voice, etc.

Similarly, it is having a feeling that something is about to happen or guessing something before it happens: For example, “Let’s get out of here; my intuition tells me there is something fishy about those people.”

Albert Einstein said that: “the intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant.”

Intuitive intelligence is the product of creative collaboration between the conscious and unconscious. It is also the source of innovative ideas and wisdom, enabling high performance from teams.

Intuitive intelligence comes to the mind in the form of sensations, images, words, metaphors and memories.

Similarly, it is considered knowledge that does not follow a rational path for its construction and formulation and, therefore, cannot be explained.

Neuroscience has shown that intuition is not a mystical ability but a complex brain function. In fact, it involves several areas of the brain.

Among them: Prefrontal cortex: responsible for decision making and critical thinking. Limbic system: associated with emotions and memories.

Reason allows us to analyze and deduce logical conclusions, while intuition draws on our past experiences to make decisions more intuitively.

Characteristics of an intuitive person:

They have good observational skills,
They notice details that others miss.
They have emotional understanding, ability to analyze and make connections that explain what is happening.
One of the secret weapons of intuition is precisely the ability to grasp many details, give them meaning and predict what might happen.
They try to see things as a whole, not just through their pieces.
They give importance to feelings when making decisions.
They have a fondness for the “feminine” disciplines of knowledge.
They are very empathetic.
The voice of intuition is soft and does not press.
Authentic intuition has a light quality, like dreams.
This way of thinking can give greater confidence in oneself and one’s ability to make correct decisions.
Silence and reflection. Intuition often arises in moments of quiet and reflection.
Listening to one’s body. Our bodies often speak to us through physical signals when something is not in harmony.
